Red Cross awards AMA Tarlac for promoting blood donation

AMA Computer College (AMACC) Tarlac received an award of recognition from the Red Cross National Voluntary Blood Program last July 25, 2013 at the Bulwagan ng mga Gobernador, Tarlac. This award is given to organizations and institutions that support the voluntary blood program of Red Cross. The National Voluntary Blood Program is part of Red Cross’s way in providing safe blood to the Filipinos through its active role in advocacy and promotion of blood donation in the country. The program also ensures that all people who need their services are treated accordingly. Through the efforts of AMACC Tarlac to aid the Red Cross, the Province of Tarlac was provided a continuous supply of safe blood. AMACC Tarlac School Director Leda Amacan and Red Cross Youth-AMACC Tarlac Chapter President Kristofferson Jimenez received the award of recognition.
